QUALITY, HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
Haybel Company Limited committed to delivering construction projects that meet or exceed client requirements while protecting the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, subcontractors, visitors, and the public.
We recognize that quality and safety are fundamental to the success and sustainability of our construction operations. We therefore conduct our activities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, recognized industry standards, and good construction practices.
Our Commitments
- Quality Assurance
We are committed to delivering projects that meet agreed specifications, drawings, standards, budgets, and schedules. We maintain appropriate quality control procedures, inspections, testing, documentation, and corrective actions throughout every stage of construction.
- Health & Safety
We will provide and maintain safe working conditions by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing appropriate control measures. We are committed to preventing workplace injuries, occupational illnesses, accidents, and unsafe practices.
- Risk Management
Before and during construction activities, we identify potential risks associated with plant, equipment, materials, personnel, work methods, and site conditions. Appropriate risk assessments and safe systems of work will be implemented and regularly reviewed.
Competent Workforce
We ensure that employees, subcontractors, and other relevant personnel receive appropriate induction, training, supervision, and information necessary to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- . Personal Protective Equipment Where risks cannot be adequately controlled through other measures, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and its correct use enforced. PPE requirements will be communicated and monitored on all project sites
- . Environmental Protection We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our construction activities through responsible waste management, pollution prevention, efficient use of resources, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance We will comply with applicable Ghanaian laws, regulations, permits, contractual obligations, and relevant construction, occupational health and safety, and environmental requirements
- Subcontractor & Supplier Management We expect our subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other partners to meet our quality and safety requirements. Their performance will be monitored to ensure compliance with project standards.

- Incident Reporting & Continuous Improvement All incidents, near misses, hazards, defects, and unsafe conditions must be reported promptly. We will investigate significant incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
- Employee Participation We encourage employees at all levels to actively participate in maintaining quality and safety. Every employee has the responsibility and authority to report unsafe conditions and stop work where there is an immediate and serious risk to people, property, or the environment.
- Management Responsibility Management is responsible for providing the leadership, resources, training, equipment, and systems necessary to implement this policy effectively. We will establish measurable quality and safety objectives, monitor performance, conduct regular reviews, and continuously improve our management systems
